Plugin Ethernet

If you have had a similar experience to me – namely that there are areas in your house where wi-fi reception is poor, even with boosters, then it might be worth considering a plugin Ethernet system.

Instead of having to hardwire Ethernet connections, the likes of TP-Link offer a system which uses your domestic wiring. Just plug in the connector to one of your wall sockets and connect it to your router with an Ethernet cable. Plug in another connector near your computer and connect that with another Ethernet cable. In my case the speed difference was an inprovement of 14MBps.

Here is an affilate link to one of TP-Link’s products. Remember to buy the cables as well.
